FAQS
We believe everyone deserves access to quality support, and we’ve structured our fees to reflect that.
The first session is all about getting to know each other. Because this session is less focused on therapeutic work and more about building connection, we offer it at a reduced rate: - $70 for individuals - $90 for couples or families
Subsequent sessions involve deeper therapeutic work tailored to your needs: - $100 for individual - $120 for couples or families

do you offer discounts too?
I offer discounts for those with a Health Care Card, Carer Card, or DVA card. Terms and conditions apply, please feel free to ask us if you’re eligible
I also have discounts for families who are dealing with the complexities around Gender Diverse Children. Please send us an email to discuss. We understand services are tricky to access and often expensive
I understand that getting to appointments can be challenging, especially when juggling work commitments or caring for children. That’s why we offer home visits, allowing you to receive support in the comfort of your own space. Many families find it easier to relax, open up, and work through their goals in an environment that feels familiar.
I also know that a counselling office isn’t the right fit for everyone. For those who prefer a community setting or need a more accessible option, we can arrange sessions at local libraries or bookable rooms in community centres. Our goal is to make counselling accessible, comfortable, and responsive to your needs — wherever that may be.
Some people claim to be Social workers when they do not hold a Social work Qalification
Social work also hasn’t always had the best reputation, and not without reason. Historically, it’s been linked to some poor decisions and practices that caused harm. As part of a new generation of social workers, we committed to challenging those outdated approaches and working toward non-oppressive, supportive, and ethical practice.
At its core, social work is about understanding how people live, adapt, and strive within the systems around them, and helping them navigate those systems. While psychology often focuses on the individual’s inner world, social work looks at the whole picture: how culture, politics, education, community, and other structures shape our lives.
These factors all play a part in who we are and the challenges we face. Social workers can take on many roles — from case management and advocacy to counselling and therapeutic support. Whatever the role, the aim is the same: to stand alongside people, amplify their voice, and work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
